    Driver Biography

    Picture
Jim Beaver grew up knee deep in the racing world. He came from a family line of racing, whether it be on land or water, wheels or not. Jim's great grandfather Dan was an accomplished horse racer. Jim's grandfather Marion is a multi time national hydroplane boat racing champion, and a multi time world record holder. He has also been placed on the APBA Honor Squadron, which is the highest honor given to boat racers. Jim's father Dan, is a 28-year veteran of class 8 off road racing. He also had the opportunity for the legendary Bill Stroppe to be his co-driver for two years out of his career. Dan was also pre-running partners with the late Mickey Thompson.

Coming from a bloodline of accomplished racers, Jim knew from a young age it was in his blood as well. Watching his father race against the likes of Walker Evans, Ivan Stewart, and Robby Gordon growing up, Jim learned quite a few things about racing. He learned that racing is not all driving, but marketing and equipment as well. Without the tools to market your team, you can't afford the best equipment, thus holding your driving ability back.

At his young age, Jim Beaver has already been crowned Western States Champion, has been a winner of the World's Richest Desert Race, became only the 2nd youngest American to ever compete in the SCORE Trophy Truck Series next to only NASCAR's Jimmie Johnson, has become the youngest driver ever to compete in Best in the Desert's Trick Truck Series, and also became the youngest driver to ever to score a podium finish in the Best in the Desert Trick Truck Series.
