Las Vegas, Nevada (March 24, 2004) ~~ By popular demand Best In The Desert Racing Association announces an exciting format addition to the Terrible's Town "250"! The Best In The Desert is going to run a TIME TRIAL event, open for Car and Truck entries only. Best In The Desert ran a Time Trial event for start positions for the Blue Water Resort & Casino Parker "425" and the racers loved it. A questionnaire was sent out after the Parker event and of the questionnaires returned the majority of racers requested a time trial event. "I think the Time Trial event adds a new dimension to the sport," says Casey Folks, Director of Best In The Desert. "We are the only off-road racing organization that runs a time trial event. It takes a lot of time and energy to run the additional event, but our racers like the event and that's what we are going to give them. That is one thing I pride my organization for; listening to, and responding to what our racers what."

The "Time Trials" will determine START POSITION for the race and the TOP 20 Car and Truck entries will START in the order in which they placed in the "Time Trials" and the additional Car and Truck entries will start in their traditional order by Class. This is a very exciting format because it gives all of the Car/Truck Classes an equal opportunity to start up front. Only the ProTruck Class 1200 will not be eligible for the Top 20 positions, but can qualify in the Time Trials to compete for a top starting position within the ProTruck Class.

The "Time Trials" will be set up as a timed event held early Friday morning, April 23, 2004. Again, the Top 20 fastest qualifiers of the "Time Trials" will start in that order! If a race entry does not attend the "Time Trials" they will be placed in order by Class of a draw after the time trial event. It is not mandatory to attend the "Time Trials" but very advantageous to start as close as possible to the front of your class. The Time Trials will be open for spectating too! Invite your friends and family, tell them to bring a picnic and they can watch the first exciting happening of an incredible off-road race happening, the Terrible's Town "250".

The Terrible's Town "250" will start in Pahrump, on Saturday, April 24, and Finish at the parking lot of the Terrible's Town Casino on Main Street, SR-160. Not only is the Terrible's Town Casino a great property, but finishing right in the parking lot is going to be an awesome experience, an experience and an adventure you won't want to miss!

The Terrible's Town "250" Registration, Contingency and Technical Inspection will be held on Friday, April 23, 2004, at the Terrible's Town Casino.
