
2005 Tecate SCORE Baja 500
to air as One-Hour Prime Time Special
Tuesday on the Outdoor Life Network
LOS ANGELES, CA -- The 37th Annual
Tecate SCORE Baja 500 desert race will be broadcast as a one-hour Prime Time
special
at 9 p.m. (Eastern and Pacific
Time)
next Tuesday
(Sept. 27) on the Outdoor Life Network (OLN). Round 3 of the six-race
2005 SCORE Desert Series was held on June 4-5 in Ensenada, Mexico.
With a near race-record
345 starters competing in 24 Pro and 5 Sportsman classes for cars, trucks,
motorcycles and ATVs, NASCAR team owner/driver Robby Gordon
returned to his racing roots to capture the Overall and SCORE Trophy-Truck
title in his No. 83 Red Bull Chevy CK1500.
With entries from 30 U.S. States, Canada, Japan and Mexico, the independent
team of Mike Childress and Mouse McCoy captured the Overall and Class 22
motorcycle victory on a Honda XR650R.
